Photographing the starry sky often requires long exposure times—star trails alone can take at least 30 minutes. A stable camera setup is essential, but a portable seat can also make a big difference.

I’ve tried many seat canes, but my recent favorite is the Ta-da Chair, which also doubles as a walking stick. It’s lightweight, stable, and sits higher off the ground, making it more comfortable.
